VIP® Systems:
- Single control board with advanced
digital technology provides the highest level of system reliability
and offers a direct link to computers and other melt shop
systems. With the VIP® Melt-Manager® option, the VIP® unit includes a built-in computer with advanced
diagnostics and key melt control functions.
- Door within a door protects control circuitry from higher
voltage areas while circulating air keeps compartment clean and cool, dramatically
increasing circuit board life.
- Rugged solid-state semiconductor components supply alternative current to the furnace coil at the proper design frequency.
- Primary or secondary furnace-isolation systems provide
double protection: isolation transformer and ground leak detector, resulting in optimum safety and
increased melt rates.
- A full-access water pumping module is available on units
from 750kW to 1750kW. This modular pumping system offers easy access to all major water
systems components, simplifying and speeding routine maintenance.
- Full system
diagnostics: circuit monitor provides fast, accurate system information for
troubleshooting and easier maintenance.
- Backup safety systems: An ultra-fast-acting AC Interrupter and an
Over-Voltage Protection Circuit provide the ultimate system protection. Smaller units are
protected by a current limiting reactor and high-speed circuit breaker.
- Husky copper bus bars, in comparison to
water-cooled copper tubing, put power into the melt, not the water system.
- Automatic full power response - from cold charge to pour -
melts more pounds per kWh and kVA for lower melting costs
and greater productivity.

VIP® Dual-Trak® Systems:
- Able to apply power to two furnaces at the same time and can increase metal production in batch melting by 20% or more at the same power rating compared to a single-output power unit.
- Inductotherm offers Dual-Trak® induction power supplies for batch melting and Dual-Melt® power supplies for melting with a molten heel and for holding applications.
- Dual-Trak® systems are available in all power ratings.
- Dual-Trak® Plus systems supply extra power to further increase productivity. These provide up to 30% more kilowatts than a standard unit of the same power rating.

VIP® Tri-Trak® Systems:
- Inductotherm's Tri-Trak® induction power supplies have three outputs directing power to three furnaces simultaneously.
- Tri-Trak® units offer great operational flexibility to foundries requiring high levels of metal production.
- When equipped with a rectifier section (ACI) equal to each
of the unit's three inverter sections, a Tri-Trak® unit can direct
full power to any one furnace or power can be allocated in any way among the furnaces.
- If equipped with a rectifier section double the power of each inverter section, a Tri-Trak® system can direct melting power to any two furnaces or can melt in one furnace while directing the remaining power between the other furnaces.

VIP® Multi-Switch™ Power Systems:
- The VIP® Multi-Switch™ Power Systems provide full and precise
zoned temperature control for fluidical bed reactors and
graphite heating applications.
- This multiple power switching allows the ability to apply
greater power to the bottom zone of the susceptor than to
the top zone or zones.
- It offers the ability to put a temperature "spike" directly into the load in any zone of the susceptor.
- Improved efficiency as the system uses only the power needed for induction heating.
- Simple automated controls - Power allocations are calculated by an on-board computer and set automatically based on the user programmed requirements.
- Compact design - A single power unit with multiple outputs.
- Minimal maintenance compared to resistance heating systems.
IMPORTANT:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn
by anyone in proximity to molten metal.
