DRAFTER/DESIGNER
Education: 2yrs Formal Drafting Training or Equivalent.
Essential Functions:
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
- Knowledgeable in standard drafting practices.
- Good basic math skills.
- Experience in machine design drafting, including weldment and assemblies.
- Able to read measuring devices (tape measures, rulers, vernier calipers).
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be in regular attendance and able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
- Will be required to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Solid Works experience a plus.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to see and read printed word and have good perception.
- Must be able to hear and speak on the phone.
- Must be able to sit at a work station for a normal 8-hour day.
- Must be able to traverse building.
- Must have neat business like appearance.
Non-Essential Physical Requirements:
- Good dexterity to permit getting in and around equipment.
- Able to reach above head.
- Able to climb.
