Candidate should have a BSEE or BSME with 3+ year’s experience as a design engineer preferred. This position will include the design of systems for melting, coating and heat treating for various metals.
Familiar with all types of manufacturing processes (machine, welding, etc.).
Proficient with both standard and metric units of measure.
Must be able to read understand electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
Advanced experience with AutoCad, familiar with SolidWorks, FEA software and software programming fundamentals.
Strong background in mechanical engineering fundamentals including Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Machine Design, Fluid Dynamics.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through the design, manufacturing, testing, installation and start-up phases.
Must have a valid driver’s license; able to travel domestic and internationally as needed. Valid passport required.
Must be in regular attendance, able to work any shift and extended hours as required.
Must be able to work independently, exercise good judgment and meet tight deadlines in a fast pace environment.
Should have the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Experience in the design of electrical controls.
Experience in the field of electromagnetic.
Must be able to read printed word, write speak and understand English.
Must be able to traverse the floor of a plant in an industrial setting with various types of heavy machinery and overhead hoists in operation.
Must make us aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
Must be able to work in a hot harsh environment and able to wear protective clothing from molten metal splash and arc flash.
