Digital Media/Marketing Specialist position available for an individual with the knowledge and abilities normally acquired through a digital media degree or combination of education and experience. Applicants with proven experience and who have a strong knowledge of various web/multimedia applications will be strongly considered.
Tasks taken from concept to completion include: e-newsletters and digital marketing, web-related projects, photography/videography, presentations/animations and other various projects as required.
Coordinate and capture high quality photos and videos for media/events to support company needs. Design, transport, set-up and operate video/photo equipment, including audio/lighting, for field and shop shoots. Troubleshoot as required. Ability to adapt in the field is critical.
Organize and edit existing video footage as required to produce new video; achieve promotional and educational objectives; and demonstrate strong knowledge of audio and video editing software.
Familiarity with web development technologies and best practices is a must to design, develop and manage full websites, mobile sites, and apps. Ensure content and other media is optimized and efficient.
Produce sites, campaigns and content as needed. Manage multiple projects along with determining and managing necessary resources, timelines, and budgets and stay within both budget and timeline.
Design, distribute and manage e-newsletters to deliver effective and innovative digital campaigns.
Monitor, maintain and strengthen consistent online brand identity and proactively seek content from digital world for use in PR, marketing, and/or product development. As required and approved, manage video networks, engage in social networking, post on relevant blogs and seed content into applications.
Must have good interpersonal and writing skills, with the ability to communicate and engage with others to ensure delivery of clear message to audience and others. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel a strong plus. Copy writing for a variety of uses may be required.
Must have strong computer skills. A basic knowledge of Adobe products (Dreamweaver, Flash) and Microsoft products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are essential. Other Microsoft and Adobe products are a plus. Lotus Notes and QSI database knowledge is also a plus.
Must be able to take initiative, exercise good judgment, assume responsibility without direct supervision and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
Must perform other duties as required and effectively manage budget and time. Multi-tasking and the ability to set priorities are required, organizational skills are essential and a good work ethic is a must.
Must be able to travel as required and have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to use public transportation, ie: plane, train, bus, etc.
Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
The maximum weight to be lifted will be based on NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) guidelines based on specific lift conditions.
